Our client a fast growing trading company in the automotive industry wishes to recruit a Technical Service Engineer to be responsible for providing expert-level technical support to customers, dealers, and internal teams.

• Provide technical support to service centers, and customers via phone, or email.
• Oversee the diagnosing of vehicle problems using technical data, diagnostic tools, and customer input.
• Liaise between dealerships and the manufacturer or parts suppliers to resolve complex technical issues.
• Review and process warranty claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy.
• Assist in developing and updating technical documentation such as service bulletins, repair procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service resolutions in the CRM or service management platform.
• Train and support dealership technicians and service advisors with new technologies, repair techniques, and product updates.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging vehicle technologies, and diagnostic tools.
• Provide feedback to engineering, quality, and product teams based on recurring field issues or customer feedback.
• Participate in field visits or audits when needed.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using automotive diagnostic software and tools.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 2 - 4 years of experience in an automotive technical support or repair role.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, diagnostics, and electrical systems.
