Job Purpose:
To provide efficient, accurate, and secure cash handling services while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the Sacco's professional image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process deposits, withdrawals, cheques and other member transactions accurately.
- Verify customer identity before processing transactions.
- Maintain custody and security of cash and teller workstation.
- Perform daily reconciliation of cash and transactions.
- Maintain transaction registers and customer records.
- Respond to customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Support branch operations and perform any other assigned duties.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- KCSE Mean Grade C and above.
- A Diploma in Banking, Business Management, Business Administration or a Bachelor degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, business administration, Cooperative Management, commerce or any other related field from a recognized university.
- CPA (Part II or above) will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within a Sacco, bank, or other regulated financial institution.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills with excellent customer service.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
