Job Overview

We are seeking to recruit a competent, proactive, and detail-orientedTalent & Culture Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will support the HR function in ensuring smooth people operations while upholding high standards of professionalism, compliance, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

1 Coordinate recruitment and selection processes (advertising, shortlisting, interviews, onboarding.

2 Manage employee records and maintain accurate HR documentation.

3 Oversee attendance management, including monitoring timekeeping, absenteeism, lateness, shift reports, and preparing attendance summaries.

4 Administer leave management and ensure proper documentation and approvals.

5 Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate attendance, overtime, and leave data.

6 Ensure statutory compliance (NSSF, NHIF, PAYE, etc.).

7 Facilitate payroll processing and inputs to ensure timely salary payments.

8 Assist in performance management processes including probation reviews and appraisals.

9 Handle employee relations matters and support disciplinary procedures in line with company policy and labor laws.

10 Facilitate training coordination and employee development initiatives.

11 Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and other relevant labor regulations.

12 Support HR reporting and data analysis.

13 Promote positive employee engagement and uphold company culture.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field.

• CHRP certification or progress towards certification will be an added advantage.

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in HR, preferably within the hospitality industry.

• Experience managing attendance systems and payroll inputs.

• Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and statutory requirements.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

• Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
