JOB SUMMARY

The job holder is responsible for the efficient performance and effective supervision of his/her team's sales activities while maintaining strong business relationships with clients. He/she will also enhance business development and market penetration by executing trades in the region.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruit and maintain a highly motivated and performing team of sales agents.
  • Conduct regular training to ensure the team understands the products and acquires the necessary skills for their roles.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve targets and profitability.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with the company's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and grow relationships to enhance service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the sales team's action plans, monitor their activities, and address any challenges.
  • Plan and prioritize personal and team sales activities to achieve business goals, including cost and sales targets.
  • Ensure TAT is met to satisfy customer needs and motivate sales reps.
  • Organize and participate in promotional activities like CSR. activations, and door-to-door marketing.
  • Maintain high discipline levels within the team to ensure productivity and high performance.
  • Collaborate with RC/STL in hiring and retaining the sales team for optimal workforce planning.
  • Conduct regular training to ensure the team understands the products and acquires necessary skills. Gather and share information on market intelligence with the management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least a diploma in a business-related field.
  • Passionate about sales with a strong ambition to build a career in sales management.
  • Atleast 2 years experience as a sales Team Leader in Microfinance product (Check off product)
  • Well conversant with check-off product.
  • Training and experience in sales ft marketing will be an added advantage.
