Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Team Leader/Unit Manager role based in Nairobi County, Kenya.

The Team Leader/Unit Manager will oversee and coordinate the activities of a sales team to achieve defined targets.

Daily responsibilities include recruiting, training, and mentoring team members, setting goals and objectives, monitoring team performance, and implementing strategies to drive business growth.

The role also involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies, as well as maintaining excellent customer service and client relationships.

Qualifications

Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to mentor and motivate team members effectively

Sales and marketing expertise, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets

Communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with clients and team members

Analytical thinking and strategic planning abilities for developing and implementing business strategies

Proficient in time management and organizational skills

Familiarity with the insurance industry and regulatory standards is advantageous

Minimum diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Ecop compliant

2026 IRA License

Experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in the insurance or financial services sectors
