Responsibilities or duties

Responsible for translating work order requests into processed proteins that are accurately cut, sliced, formed, and marinated.

Control and minimize wastages.

Follows the production plan that processes batches quantities of raw materials into finished product including sauces, soups, and cooked meats.

Can keep and demonstrate accurate records for the production.

Be able to use machines with minimal supervision such as Vacuum sealer, Food Processor, stick blender, mincers.

Understand different cooling times & environments for different products.

Has Knowledge of food preparation and cooking large quantities of food.

Understands all the meals prepared in the staff cafeteria i.e., Beef, Chicken, Veggies, Chapati, Ugali.

Able to follow recipes quickly and with minimal supervision.

Ensure work environment and stations are clean and sanitized.

Comply with outlined Food safety and Health & Safety regulations and procedures.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Key Result Areas/ Key Performance Indicators

Adherence to work schedules and performance criteria.

Perform all work in line with trained SOPs and adherence to OSH procedures

Performance Management

Attend all daily cascade briefings

Support team development through knowledge sharing and giving suggestions on how to improve processes.

Delivery to customers in full and on time.

To achieve satisfactory scores in all customer quality assessment measures.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

KCSE/O-Level certification

Experience needed

1 year working as part of a team

Experience of working in an FMCG environment

At least 1 years’ experience in food manufacturing

Excellent English verbal and written skills.
