We’re hiring a Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth in our power-solutions division. The ideal candidate has strong electrical expertise and proven sales experience with power stabilizers, inverters, solar systems, and UPS equipment.
Customer Engagement: Building client relationships, understanding their needs through discovery sessions, and conducting product demonstrations. Sales and Proposals: Developing technical proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with sales teams to meet sales targets. Technical Support: Providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support, responding to technical questions, and helping with product implementation. Product Feedback: Gathering customer feedback and relaying it to product development and engineering teams. Market Research: Staying up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies. Reporting: Preparing reports, updating customer records, and analyzing sales data.
Technical: Strong knowledge of power systems, engineering principles, and product specifications. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Sales and negotiation: Proficiency in sales techniques, negotiation, and creating customer proposals and quotations. Problem-solving: Ability to analyze customer needs, identify pain points, and develop tailored technical solutions. Analytical: Strong analytical and research skills to understand market trends, competitor offerings, and client requirements. Interpersonal: Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Organizational: Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
•HND/Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field •5+ years of experience in power solutions •Valid driving license & willingness to travel •Strong communication & leadership skills •EPRA registration is an added advantage
