Responsibilities or duties

Ensure continuous airworthiness of company aircraft through compliant maintenance records.

Accurately update Aircraft, Engine, Propeller, and APU logbooks.

Store Engines, APU, Landing Gears, and LLPs with correct traceability documentation.

Provide timely hours/cycles information on removed components.

Update and prepare aircraft utilization and landing reports monthly.

Review maintenance records for completeness and accuracy.

Securely store and preserve maintenance records per KCAA and Jambojet standards.

Compile shop visit documentation for correct capture.

Familiarize with Aircraft delivery and redelivery documentation.

Create Engine Removal and Installation reports.

Manage storage and preservation of delivery documents.

Monitor technical records for compliance and retrieval efficiency.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of aircraft documentation and records including AMM, IPC, and mandatory airworthiness documentation. Familiarity with maintenance schedules, work packages, and airline manual and electronic data management systems.

Management Skills: Organization and prioritization of document handling and records management.

Human Relations Skills: Coordination with internal stakeholders for compliance and reporting.

Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory requirements (KCAA regulations). Handling digital documentation systems. Expertise in standard paperwork accuracy and legibility.

Education: Diploma or Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience needed

Minimum 3 years’ experience in records management, preferably in aviation.

Experience in digital documentation systems and aircraft maintenance documentation.

Certification: Aircraft documentation course preferred.
