Role Overview:

We are looking for hands-on, reliable, and energetic Technicians to manage day-to-day operations at our offline battery swapping stations. You will support riders, ensure safety and quality of swaps, and maintain battery and equipment performance. 

Mazi Mobility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support riders to swap batteries safely and efficiently. 
  • Confirm battery health and charge levels before and after each swap. 
  • Ensure proper logging of each swap (via manual logs, USSD, or mobile device). 
  • Guide riders on proper battery handling. 
  • Provide courteous and prompt assistance to riders at the station. 
  • Perform routine checks and cleaning of batteries and connectors. 
  • Identify and report any faulty batteries or swap issues. 
  • Escalate technical problems to the hardware support team. 
  • Ensure the station area is clean, safe, and well-organised. 
  • Monitor and manage inventory of batteries at the station. 
  • Maintain shift logs and incident reports where necessary. 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or certificate in automotive technology, electrical engineering, or a related technical field. 
  • Previous experience in a mechanical, electrical, or field service technician role is a plus. 
  • Comfortable working with hands-on tools and basic diagnostic processes. 
  • Basic understanding of battery safety and handling is an advantage. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, depending on station needs.
