KCB Bank is looking for a Technology Vendor Manager to lead the strategic management of our technology vendors — ensuring performance, efficiency, and innovation across our digital ecosystem.
In this role, you’ll develop and execute a comprehensive technology vendor management strategy that enhances efficiency, reduces costs, mitigates risks, and ensures the delivery of high-quality services aligned with the Bank’s goals.
Develop and implement a technology vendor management strategy to align vendors with KCB Group’s objectives. Evaluate and manage vendor contracts (MSA, SLA, SOWs) in collaboration with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and business owners. Monitor vendor performance, enforce compliance, and address breaches or risks. Build long-term vendor relationships through continuous engagement and service review meetings. Ensure all IT products and services are supported by valid contracts, and track renewals proactively. Partner with SCM, Legal, and Software Asset Management (SAM) to ensure risk mitigation, license compliance, and cost optimization. Act as a central point of contact for IT vendor issues and drive service improvement initiatives.
6+ years in IT service delivery, vendor or contract management 3+ years in project management, sourcing, or vendor performance management Experience managing complex IT contracts (hardware, software, services, communications) Proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills 1+ year experience in people management
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business-related field (required) MBA or MSc (added advantage) ITIL Foundation or Project Management (required) Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent (advantage) Certified Contract Manager (CCM) or equivalent (advantage)
