Reporting to Senior Officer Debts, Equity and Other Schemes and will be responsible for reviewing applications for issuance of debt, equity securities, spot commodities and derivatives, investment funds and other products to ensure compliance with the Capital Markets Legal and Regulatory Framework and applicable standards.
Contract Period: Six (6) Months Fixed Term Contract
Key responsibilities for the position:
- Reviewing offer documents submitted in support of applications for approval of corporate restructuring transactions, such as Mergers & Acquisitions and private transfers;
- Reviewing notices, announcements, advertisements and other required publications by issuers of securities, Investment funds and other products and make recommendations of their suitability for publication;
- Engaging applicants and respond to queries and correspondence from various internal and external parties on the approval requirements;
- Keeping and updating databases relating to application for approval of debt and equities securities and Collective Investment Schemes;and
- Undertaking research on best practices relating to approval of issuers, CISs, ESOPs and other products to facilitate review of applications Participating in departmental meetings.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; and
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience will be an added advantage.

- Show initiative and meet all deadlines with high quality work;
- Demonstrate good communication skills and teamwork; and
- Always dedicated to confidentiality.
