Peoplelink Consultants Ltd is a consultancy services company incorporated under the laws of Kenya.

Responsibilities or duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tender and bid process, including:

  • Identifying and tracking tender opportunities from government portals and institutional buyers.
  • Reviewing tender documents to assess eligibility, requirements and submission deadlines.
  • Preparing and submitting complete and compliant tender/bid documents.
  • Conducting pricing and costing analysis to ensure competitive bids.
  • Coordinating with Finance, Warehouse and Technical teams to obtain required information and documentation.
  • Maintaining company prequalification, registration and compliance documents.
  • Preparing bid securities, performance bonds and other tender requirements.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with procurement officers, government agencies and institutional buyers.
  • Monitoring tender awards and following up on contract execution, deliveries and payment terms.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable public procurement regulations and company policies.
  • Preparing periodic tender and sales reports for management.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Procurement or a related field.

A Diploma in a relevant field may be considered with relevant experience.

Knowledge of Kenya's public procurement processes, including PPRA, PPADA, IFMIS and e-GP, will be an added advantage.

Strong skills in tender management, proposal writing, pricing/costing and compliance.

Experience needed

1-3 years' experience in tender/bid management or institutional sales, preferably within the medical, laboratory or healthcare sector.

Practical experience preparing and submitting tender/bid documents for institutional buyers.
