Theatre Technician

Job Description:

• Monitoring equipment performance and reporting faults or malfunctions for repair or replacement.

• Preparing operating theatres before surgical procedures by setting up and testing all required equipment.

• Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining theatre equipment in compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.

• Maintaining accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and servicing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Theatre Technology, Health Technology, or related field.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a hospital setting or a similar role.

• Knowledge of operating theatre equipment and hospital safety protocols is an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of infection prevention and control procedures.
