Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Tour Consultant to join our team in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to create exceptional travel itineraries.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and needs.
• Design and customize unique safari and travel itineraries.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, accommodations, activities, and transportation.
• Prepare detailed quotes and proposals for clients.
• Manage bookings, reservations, and confirmations with suppliers.
• Handle client inquiries and provide pre- and post-travel support.
• Stay up-to-date with travel trends and product knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Tour Consultant or in a similar role within the travel industry.
• In-depth knowledge of East African destinations, particularly Kenya.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in GDS systems and travel booking software is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
