Responsibilities or duties
Duties and Responsibilities entail
- Assisting in Designing, developing and delivering training and capacity building programmes in maritime transport and logistics and related areas;
- Assisting in Development of instructional materials for training;
- Assisting in implementation of training programmes according to the set syllabus;
- Supporting in Setting, administering and marking of examinations;
- Supporting trainees’ practical sessions in trade projects and business plan development;
- Assisting in the development of institutional training policies;
- Assisting in developing and reviewing curriculum and syllabus;
- Assisting in Workshop records keeping.
BMA is ISO 9001:2015 Certified Providing Competent Human Resource for sustainable Blue Economy
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Required Qualification
For appointment to this grade, a staff must have: -
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: Maritime Transport and Logistics, International Freight Management, Maritime Law and Policy, Shipping Management and Logistics, Port Management, Clearing and Forwarding, Maritime/Business Management from a recognized university;
- Proficiency in Computer Applications.
Experience needed
Relevant working experience would be an added advantage.
