Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary **Training and Support Manager** to join our strategic leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end design, implementation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of teacher training, coaching, and support frameworks across all organizational programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Innovation: Lead the design and delivery of innovative, scalable teacher professional development strategies.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Strengthen classroom support systems, including ongoing mentorship, instructional coaching, and peer learning models.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all training curricula and support programs are evidence-based, culturally contextualized, and delivered to high-quality standards.
  • Data-Driven Continuous Improvement: Utilize field data, educational research, and feedback loops to continuously refine training and support initiatives.
  • Partnership Engagement: Build and sustain strategic partnerships with government ministries, teacher training colleges, and international development partners to advance regional education reform.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Field Expertise: Demonstrable leadership experience in teacher professional development, curriculum development, instructional coaching, or education management across Africa.
  • Systems Thinking: Deep understanding of national education systems, teacher support frameworks, and regional educational challenges.
  • Leadership Capabilities: Strong program design, project management, and analytical skills, with a track record of driving impact at scale.
  • Partnership & Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with institutional partners, government bodies, and multidisciplinary teams.
