Job Responsibilities:
- Providing training for all contractor employees performing tasks assigned in the T-Line annex and documenting this training appropriately.
- Overseeing aviation safety compliance and ensuring tasks are conducted per established safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
- Acting as the single source of information for the T-Line annex and Base Operating Support Contractor (BOSC) contract requirements.
- Developing, coordinating, and implementing parking plans for a diverse range and volume of aircraft on two ramps, working with multiple entities including the Navy, United States Air Force (USAF), Coalition forces, and AMC (Air Mobility Command) contract flights.
- Managing and overseeing a 10-person T-Line shop, including the facilitation of on-the-job training (OJT) and annual training for assigned personnel.
- Coordinating with the AMC annual maintenance contract to fulfill non-organic Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) requests.
- Working closely with Fuels and Air Traffic Control Officer (ATOC) units to support and schedule aircraft refueling and cargo requirements.
- Notifying Air Operations, AMC, ATOC, and T-Line management of any aircraft maintenance delays or operational issues to minimize disruptions.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.
Required Qualifications:
- Six (6) years of production experience in aviation maintenance or operations, as defined within Air Force Instruction AFI 21-101_Air Mobility Command Supplement AMCSUP 1, Chapters 3 & 4, or equivalent Department of Defense (DoD)/civilian experience. Experience with large-body aircraft is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current and valid driver’s license (U.S. or International).
- Proven capability in developing and coordinating aircraft parking plans for diverse aircraft and working collaboratively with multiple agencies.
- Experience in managing a shop of up to 10 personnel, including providing OJT and annual training.
- Familiarity with coordinating and fulfilling non-organic AGE requests through the AMC annual maintenance contract.
- Ability to work closely with Fuels and ATOC to ensure aircraft refueling and cargo requests are supported.
- Must be able to generate direct communication and coordination with Air Ops, AMC, ATOC, and T-Line to resolve maintenance delays or operational issues.
- Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
- Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
- Ability to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.
- Employees must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in aviation management, logistics, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) operations or austere environments with a multi-national workforce.
- Familiarity with Air Mobility Command processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of military and civilian aviation safety standards.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
