The Role
MSF is seeking to recruit a Travel & Admin Officer to join our team in Kenya. The Travel & Admin Officer will be responsible for managing all travel arrangements for MSF staff and ensuring efficient administrative support for the office.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and book all international and domestic travel for MSF staff, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
- Ensure compliance with MSF travel policies and procedures.
- Manage visa applications and other travel documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the office, including managing correspondence, filing, and maintaining records.
- Assist with the organization of meetings and events.
- Maintain an inventory of office supplies and ensure timely procurement.
- Support the finance department with basic administrative tasks related to travel expenses.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in travel management and administrative support.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of MSF operations or humanitarian work is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in travel management and administrative support.
