JOB OPPORTUNITY

Royal Mabati Factory Limited is a leading manufacturer of high-quality mabati (corrugated iron sheets) and related roofing products in Kenya. We are committed to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team.

Responsibilities:

The Truck Driver will be responsible for:

  • Safely operating company trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations.
  • Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Maintaining accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of goods as required.
  • Reporting any vehicle malfunctions or accidents to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A valid Kenya driving license with a clean driving record (Class BCE).
  • A valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
  • Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
