Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing video content for our artists, including music videos, promotional materials, and social media clips. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and proficiency in video editing software.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content.
- Collaborate with artists and the marketing team to understand project goals and translate them into compelling visual narratives.
- Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance video content.
- Ensure all video content is consistent with brand guidelines and artistic vision.
- Manage and organize video assets and project files.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
- Strong understanding of video production and post-production processes.
- Excellent knowledge of visual storytelling, pacing, and timing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required.
Experience
Previous experience in the music industry or with music-related content is a plus.
