Greeting customers and seating them at their tables. Presenting menus and providing information on food, ingredients, and specials. Taking accurate food and drink orders. Communicating orders to the kitchen and ensuring accuracy. Serving food and beverages to guests. Checking on tables, refilling drinks, and responding to guest needs. Setting up and clearing tables, and maintaining a clean dining area. Processing payments, handling cash, and providing checks. Adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Customer Service: Ability to provide a positive and welcoming experience for all guests. Communication: Clear and effective verbal communication to take orders accurately and interact with both customers and kitchen staff. Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tables, take orders, serve food, and handle other requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in taking orders, setting tables, and ensuring order accuracy. Memory: Good memory for remembering orders, menu items, and customer requests. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other servers, bussers, and kitchen staff. Problem-Solving: Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally. POS System Proficiency: Basic ability to use point-of-sale (POS) systems and other handheld ordering devices.

Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as a waitress, is often preferred. Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays. Professional Appearance: Being well-groomed and presenting a professional image.
