Role Objective

Our client, a reputable hospitality establishment, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, product knowledge, and adherence to high hospitality standards.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and respond promptly to their requests and inquiries.
  • Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar teams.
  • Serve meals and drinks efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
  • Present menu options confidently and provide recommendations when required.
  • Ensure tables are properly arranged and maintained throughout service.
  • Coordinate effectively with other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Promote menu specials and upsell products in a courteous manner.
  • Prepare guest bills and process payments accurately.
  • Assist with restaurant opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor order flow to ensure timely and correct service delivery.
  • Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous service improvement.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by management.

Job Specifications and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Hospitality management, Food and Beverage Service or a related field.
  • At least 2 years similar experience in service in a busy high-end restaurant.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software.
