WAITER
Job Title: Waiter
Department: Food & Beverage Service
Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Food & Beverage Manager
Job Purpose
To provide courteous and efficient food and beverage service while ensuring guests enjoy a high-quality dining experience consistent with the establishment's service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests professionally.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage offerings.
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained.
- Process guest bills and payments accurately.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
- Promote menu items and upsell where appropriate.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Food and Beverage Service, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in restaurant or hotel service.
- Knowledge of food safety and customer service principles.
