WAITER / WAITRESS

Duty Station: Robot Cafe

Job Purpose

The Waiter/Waitress will provide professional, friendly, and efficient table service to customers, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience and that Robot Cafe maintains high standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and ready for customers.
• Check on customers regularly to ensure their needs are met.
• Respond to customer questions regarding menu items.
• Handle customer requests and complaints courteously and professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately where required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and customer service standards.
• Promote menu items and special offers where appropriate.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant, cafe, hotel, or related hospitality environment.
• Relevant training or qualification from a recognized institution.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Good personal hygiene and professional presentation.
