Job Summary

The Waiter is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service by:

• Welcoming and seating customers professionally.
• Presenting menus and explaining menu items when necessary.
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serving meals and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Support restaurant operations by:
• Processing customer payments where applicable.
• Maintaining cleanliness of tables and service stations.
• Addressing customer concerns courteously and escalating issues when necessary.
• Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: high school
