Waitresses primarily greet guests, take food and drink orders, serve orders, collect payments, and maintain a clean dining area.

Guest Interaction: Greet and seat customers, provide menu information, offer recommendations, and answer questions about ingredients and specials. Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests and dietary restrictions, and relay them to the kitchen staff. Service Delivery: Deliver food and drinks to tables, ensuring orders are correct and presentable. Table Maintenance: Set tables with linens, silverware, and glasses, and clean and reset tables after guests leave. Customer Satisfaction: Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, address complaints, and handle any issues that arise. Payment Processing: Prepare bills for customers and accept various forms of payment, processing transactions accurately. Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized dining area, follow food safety and health code regulations, and perform general cleaning tasks. Team Collaboration: Work with kitchen staff, management, and other team members to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience.
