In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for providing technical support in the management, handling, quality assurance and readiness of medical equipment within the warehouse. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all biomedical devices are received, inspected, stored, tested and prepared for dispatch in accordance with company procedures, manufacturers' specifications and industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of all biomedical equipment, spare parts, accessories and consumables within the warehouse. Monitor stock levels and perform regular inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy and accountability. Support inventory planning by monitoring stock availability and coordinating the replenishment of critical spare parts and consumables.

Compliance and Documentation: Conduct basic functionality tests and pre-delivery inspections of medical equipment before dispatch. Ensure all required documentation is accurate, complete and maintained in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Quality testing for inbound and outbound: Perform quality testing and functional verification of inbound and outbound medical equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturers' specifications and company quality standards.

Technical Support and Coordination: Coordinate the activities of Technical Engineers and the Warehouse team. Support equipment dispatch planning by confirming the technical readiness and completeness of orders. Assist with troubleshooting, repairing, reassembling and preparing biomedical equipment for deployment, where applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering.

At least one year of experience working in a warehouse environment.

A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance, technical support, warehouse operations or medical device management.

Practical knowledge of medical equipment inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and basic repairs.

Experience in inventory management, asset tracking systems and warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
