Warehouse Head
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Head to manage end-to-end warehouse operations. The role is execution-focused, ensuring efficient inventory control, timely order fulfillment, smooth logistics operations, and accurate stock management across offline and online channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations & Management
- Oversee daily warehouse activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Implement and maintain warehouse safety and security protocols.
- Supervise, mentor, and manage warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.
2. Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels, including stock reconciliation, accuracy, and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits to minimize discrepancies and losses.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to improve efficiency and accessibility.
3. Order Fulfillment & Logistics
- Coordinate the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure accurate and efficient fulfillment of offline and online orders.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to maintain seamless supply chain operations.
4. Process Improvement & Reporting
- Develop, implement, and monitor warehouse standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Track warehouse performance metrics and prepare periodic reports for management.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and support business growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse management within the sports industry.
- Mandatory experience with sports footwear, apparel, accessories, or sports equipment.
- Experience working with reputed brands in the same field is required.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail, operational excellence, and focus on timely delivery.
