Background

CDL was founded in early 2003 by its current Managing Director Lucy Mmari.Within her 14 year tenure in a well established logistics company, She honed her skill in human resources management and thereafter started CDL.

Responsibilities

  • Source and manage farm produce and FMCG suppliers; negotiate contracts and ensure quality.
  • Oversee dispatches and returns using Odoo ERP, ensuring 100% stock accuracy.
  • Conduct daily inventory counts, reconciliations, and audits to maintain accountability.
  • Monitor warehousing processes, minimize losses, and recommend automation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory guidelines.
  • Manage products and assets, reconciling and reporting within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare accurate reports, analyze data, and support decision-making for e-commerce.
  • Uphold Taimba’s winning culture: discipline, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Administration.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in sourcing, inventory, or warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo or other ).
  • Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Commitment to integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.
