Job Summary

The Waste Loader/Offloader is responsible for safely loading and offloading waste materials, recyclable products, and other operational materials while ensuring efficient movement of waste between collection points, vehicles, and processing facilities. The role supports smooth waste management operations through safe handling practices and adherence to workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Load waste materials onto collection and transport vehicles.
• Offload waste materials at designated disposal or recycling sites.
• Handle waste safely and efficiently.
• Assist with waste collection and transportation activities.
• Ensure proper handling of recyclable materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of loading and unloading areas.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Report damaged equipment or unsafe working conditions.
• Assist with general operational activities as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• KCSE Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in waste management or manual handling is an added advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position.
