About EJN Workshop for Communicators and Content Creators on Renewable Energy

This workshop provides an opportunity for communicators and content creators to enhance skills, network with experts, and gain field exposure in renewable energy reporting, with full funding provided to selected participants. It emphasizes hands-on learning, solutions journalism, and ethical content creation.

EJN Workshop for Communicators and Content Creators on Renewable Energy Requirements

Applicants must:  

• Commit to attending all days of the workshop. 
• Demonstrate an interest in renewable energy issues. 
• Permit republication by the organizers of any output as a result of participation in the workshop.
• Content creators should actively and frequently post short-form videos on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X or other leading social media platforms, relating to topics such as environment, energy, economy, lifestyle, social issues, travel, science, politics and health. Content creators with an audience size of more than 20,000 followers will have an advantage. Prior content focused on renewable energy is not a requirement.
• Communicators should actively and frequently be reporting on environment and/or energy issues, and can be on staff or freelancers. They should also have a familiarity and presence on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X or other leading social media platforms, but there is no audience size requirement.
