Working alongside a talented team, you will assist in the preparation and execution of world-class dishes, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation align with our premium service standards. Your contribution will ensure that every dish leaving the galley meets the highest standards of taste, consistency, and presentation, elevating the gourmet experience for our Yacht Club guests. By adhering to safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols, you uphold the integrity of our culinary operations. Your teamwork and efficiency will contribute to the seamless operation of our kitchen, supporting senior chefs in delivering a sophisticated and personalized dining experience. Your Journey So Far
- Proven experience as a Commis I or in a similar role aboard a cruise line or in a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong foundation in international and fine dining cuisine, with knowledge of food preparation techniques and plating aesthetics.
- Familiarity with high-volume galley operations while maintaining impeccable quality and efficiency.
- Experience working within strict food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural team while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Your Essentials
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications in professional cookery.
- Fluency in English (oral and written); additional languages are a plus.
- Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
- Ability to adapt to a high-energy work environment while upholding luxury service standards.
- Passion for culinary excellence and commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
