Background

The Elgeyo Marakwet County Public Service Board recruits on merit, in an open and accountable process that reflects the face of the county.

Responsibilities

Formulation of Work plans and Work schedules; Coordinating activities within the Youth Empowerment Centre’s; Organizing Youth Training Programs (Youth Skill development, Wezesha 2jiajiri program); Collecting, collation and submission of data on youth and health; Gender mainstreaming; Sensitization of the youth on employment, drugs, crime, leisure, recreation and community services; Participate in trainings, special needs, empowerment and participation; Writing reports on the status of the youths; Mobilization of the youth to engage in Public Participation and other government developmental agendas.

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: -

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from a recognized university
• Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
