Description

Health Pact Hospital Isiolo s seeking to recruit an Accountant to support effective financial management, revenue control, and compliance within the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide management with actionable insights.
  • Support internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Monitor and control hospital expenses against approved budgets.
  • Support break-even and profitability analysis.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Review and strengthen internal financial controls.
  • Payment of Statutory deductions such as PAYE, SHA & NSSF and remittance strictly within deadline.
  • Maintenances of accuracy of all ledgers at any given time with support documents
  • Deductions of Locum from consultancy doctors and nurses’ remissions of the same to KRA
  • Payment of advance income tax in conformity within every quarterly that is 20th April, 20th June, 20th September & 20th
  • Bank reconciliation of all the company accounts
  • Ensure all payments by the company comply with current rules of Etims invoice support.
  • Advice the management on impacts of all transaction and tax implication thereof
  • Proper valuation of company inventory and supervision of stock take
  • Any other work that you maybe assigned by management from time to time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field.
  • CPA (K)
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Experience with hospital billing systems and insurance processes is an added advantage.
