Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role are to assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This involves managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing and processing financial documents like invoices and expense reports, and reconciling bank statements. The role also requires helping with tax preparation and audits, and maintaining both digital and physical files. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to data confidentiality are essential, as is the ability to support senior accountants with financial reports, budgets, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications, Experience, and knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division.

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an Accountant or similar role

Demonstrated experience working within a Law Firm or a professional services firm (required).

CPA-K Certification (required)

Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting procedures.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work both independently and within a team.
