About the Role
The Judicial Service Commission invites applications for nine (9) Adhoc Member (Non‑Advocate) positions in the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal. Members will adjudicate disputes arising under the Political Parties Act, ensuring impartial resolution and upholding democratic principles.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
At least seven (7) years of professional experience in a relevant field
Must not be a public officer or hold office in a political party
Experience in alternative dispute resolution is an added advantage
Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution (leadership and integrity)
Core Competencies
High degree of professional competence
Strong oral and written communication skills
Good temperament and judgment
Commitment to public and community service
Additional Notes
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
- Canvassing leads to automatic disqualification
- Successful candidates must provide clearance certificates from KRA, HELB, DCI, EACC, CRB, and relevant professional bodies
