Description

Primary responsibility is to support general plant operations by performing administrative roles and ensuring compliance within Meteor Millennium Kenya Limited.

Admin Duties & Responsibilities

  • Records keeping - updating, photocopying, scanning and filing of documents
  • Data entry, reporting and documentation
  • Inventory management (raw materials and finished products)
  • Answering phone calls, emails, messages and assisting accordingly
  • KRA EGMS management (stamps management, declaration, forecasting, ordering, record keeping and submitting data to accountant for filing)
  • Managing license renewals, permits and compliance documentation
  • Plant and office cleaning
  • Social media management, preparing minutes and reports for meetings
  • Preparing relevant documents (customer complaints forms, process flows and corrective action)
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with KEBs water quality standards through monitoring and control
  • New clients onboarding
  • Research on ways to improve efficiency (e.g., Zoho invoicing and payments recording)
  • Preparing and submitting tender documents
  • Handling purchases processes and maintaining good relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiating favorable terms and prices from suppliers
  • Suppliers research and vetting before forwarding to management and placing company orders, office supplies and stationery

Plant Operations Duties & Responsibilities

  • Water filtration, filling, labelling and packaging
  • Plant maintenance and cleaning (backwashing, checking for bursts, malfunctions or errors and reporting accordingly)
  • Neighbors water meter reading to Kenya Power, billing, statements and handling related concerns
  • Overseeing repair and maintenance works

Field Work and Sales Duties & Responsibilities

  • Attending marketing exhibitions
  • Field errands to suppliers and city hall
  • Research on price adjustments and discounting clusters
  • Ensuring orders are dispatched in a timely manner
  • General promotion and marketing exhibitions

Soap Making Duties & Responsibilities

  • Soap making
