Job Purpose

Responsible for animal health, control, welfare and veterinary extension services at ward level under the guidance and supervision of veterinary surgeon.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties / Tasks

Carry out simple treatment of animals

Participate in disease search and reporting

Demonstrate on external parasite control techniques such as dipping, spraying and dusting

Carry out vaccination: and undertaking closed castration, dehorning, de-worming, disbudding, docking, debeaking and hoof trimming.

Issuance of movement permits
