About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department in various tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Supporting the audit process.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Performing other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
