Responsibilities or duties

Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping and laundry operations

Supervise housekeeping teams and ensure high cleanliness and quality standards

Coordinate room readiness, VIP requirements, and special requests with Front Office and other departments

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure brand standards are met

Oversee linen, laundry, supplies, and equipment with effective cost control

Handle guest concerns professionally and support service recovery

Support scheduling, deep-cleaning programs, and operational reports

Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, health & safety, and company policies

Deputize for the Executive Housekeeper when required.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Housekeeping Management (or related field)

Strong knowledge of housekeeping, laundry, and public area operations

Experience handling VIP guests and special service requirements

Proficient in PMS and housekeeping reporting systems

Strong leadership, communication, and guest-service skills with keen attention to detail

Experience needed

3–5 years’ housekeeping experience, preferably in a 5-star hotel, with exposure of managing a unit.
