Today, Pwani Oil Product modern state of the art factory at Jomvu, Mombasa, has expanded and has a capacity to refine over 620 metric tonnes of oil a day, prepared to the highest international standards. Adding to this, Pwani Oil Products new production facility at Kikambala has impacted the washing and cleaning industry with excellent laundry and bathing soaps, which is to the highest quality. Responsibilities or duties

  • Drive sales volumes and achieve daily targets across your assigned route.
  • Ensure our products are available, visible, and well-placed in all retail outlets (Dukas, beauty shops and pharmacies).
  • Build strong relationships with retailers to enhance brand loyalty and sales performance.
  • List and promote new product developments (NPDs), ensuring timely introduction and feedback collection.
  • Execute in-store merchandising, POSM placement, and activation plans to boost visibility and sell-out.
  • Capture sales data, stock levels, and market insights accurately through our Sales App.
  • Uphold company values by ensuring compliance, ethical conduct, and responsible management of trade floats and company assets.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • 2-3 years' experience in field sales, route-to-market execution, or retail distribution within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid understanding of retail environments and merchandising standards.
  • Must have a driving license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
  • Proficiency in using Sales Apps and Microsoft Office tools.
  • A customer-centric, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
