East African Cables PLC a market leader in premium electrical cables and conductors’ manufacturing with a portfolio of high-quality accessories seeks to recruit Quality Assurance Assistant Manager.
DUTIES.
- Ascertaining and verifying the quality of all raw materials and Finished Products.
- Liaise with and provide advice to the Production Manager in ensuring that production processes are in line with the required quality standards
- Plan, implement and report in the internal quality management system audits and ensure compliance with the international standards.
- Managing the company Quality Management System.
- Monitoring all production processes and ensuring standards adherence.
- Optimize processes and lead process improvement.
- Participate actively in new product development and quality improvement activities.
- Developing standard Operating procedures and ensuring compliance of the company policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or BSc Mechatronics.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
