Browns Plantations Kenya Limited is seeking an Assistant Talent Manager.

Responsibilities or duties

Work with Talent Manager and line managers to diagnose problems and identify learning solutions

Manage and implement learning & development strategies

Deliver learning solutions to realize 70:20:20 learning model

Develop and implement effective onboarding programmes

Monitor, evaluate, and review learning progress

Draw and manage relevant budgets, assess ROI

Comply with statutory requirements including NITA reimbursement

Develop information & knowledge sharing platform

Assist in implementation of projects (Talent systems modules, performance management, succession plans, employee engagement programmes)

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field

Post graduate qualification in organizational development or HR is an added advantage

Demonstrated competence in organizational design, planning, service delivery, and evaluation

Good understanding of training department operations

Knowledge of tea growing & manufacturing process is an added advantage

Computer literate with knowledge of ERP

Excellent communication, leadership, organizing, and planning skills

Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision

Strong supervisory, administrative, and interpersonal skills

Experience needed

Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR management, training, or staff development (preferably in agricultural sector)
