Job Summary

We are looking to hire a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in the diagnosis, repair, servicing and maintenance of small to medium-sized vehicles.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive inspections and diagnosis tests to identify mechanical, electrical and computerized issues.
  • Conduct repairs, replacements, and adjustments to mechanical systems i.e. damaged parts such as belts, hoses, spark plugs and filters.
  • Perform routine service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, break replacements, lubrication and fluid flushes to ensure the optimal vehicle efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze and repair complex systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs including service logs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
  • Provide detailed reports on equipment conditions and repair status.
  • Advise management on spare parts for procurement and fleet maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in ordering required parts and supplies for vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Diploma/ Certificate in Automotive Engineering, Marketing.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ hands - an experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably in the Auto-motor industry.
  • Knowledge in bodywork, paintwork and vehicle wiring, is an added advantage.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, reliability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team under minimum supervision.
