Role Context

This role is for a Bar Manager at an Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel in Mombasa. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and managing bar staff.

Responsibilities

The Bar Manager will be expected to:

• Manage daily bar operations, including inventory, ordering, and stock control.
• Supervise, train, and schedule bar staff.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Develop and maintain beverage menus and pricing strategies.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve guest complaints.
• Achieve financial targets for the bar.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Good understanding of inventory management and cost control.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications in hospitality or beverage management are a plus.
