BARISTA

Duty Station: Robot Cafe

Job Purpose

The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages according to established standards.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment.
• Prepare espresso-based drinks such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other specialty beverages.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, temperature, and presentation.
• Take customer orders accurately and process them efficiently.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Explain beverage options and make recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and beverage preparation area.
• Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies.
• Report equipment problems, damaged items, or stock shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Support other cafe operations when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Barista or in a related hospitality role.
• Relevant barista, hospitality, food and beverage, or related training from a recognized institution.
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate and care for coffee-making equipment.
• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
