Job Summary

Stedmak Group of Hotels is seeking a skilled and disciplined Barman/Barlady to manage beverage preparation and bar inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing drinks against authorized orders, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring the bar operates efficiently while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue beverages according to authorized orders.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of beverage stock movement.
  • Receive bar stock from the store and verify quantities received.
  • Post and update stock transfers and consumption records in the system.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and report any variances.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar areas and equipment.
  • Monitor stock levels and submit replenishment requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Work closely with the restaurant, stores, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Food & Beverage Service, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a hotel, restaurant, club, or bar environment.
  • Experience in beverage stock control and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of POS or inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • Honest, accountable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
