We're looking for exceptional professionals across Front of House and Culinary roles who bring strong technical expertise, operational excellence, and a passion for outstanding guest experiences.

BARMAN

Job Purpose

The Barman is responsible for preparing and serving beverages professionally while maintaining high standards of service, presentation, hygiene, stock control, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks, coffee, and other beverages as required.
  • Follow approved recipes and beverage presentation standards.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of beverage ingredients, flavours, preparation techniques, and pairings.
  • Provide professional and personalised service to guests.
  • Recommend beverages based on guest preferences and menu offerings.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform management of replenishment requirements.
  • Receive, store, and rotate beverage supplies appropriately.
  • Control wastage and maintain accurate portioning.
  • Operate bar equipment safely and correctly.
  • Maintain appropriate records of stock and transactions.
  • Process guest orders and payments accurately where required.
  • Follow applicable responsible alcohol service procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Follow food safety, health, and safety requirements.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Assist with bar opening, closing, cleaning, and stock-taking procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant bartending experience, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel or high-end establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Good beverage preparation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and professional appearance.
  • Good stock control and cash-handling skills where applicable.
