Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves maintaining bar inventory, ensuring cleanliness, processing customer orders efficiently, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Recommend beverages and promote menu specials to customers.
• Ensure prompt and accurate service to guests.

Customer Service

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
• Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

Bar Operations

• Monitor and replenish bar stock as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer payments where applicable.
• Ensure the bar area remains clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service.

Health & Safety

• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Ensure bar equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Food & Beverage, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Bartending certification is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a bartender in a restaurant, hotel, or bar.
