Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager will build and sustain relationships with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, project owners/developers, and security managers, with the objective of creating early, consistent visibility and preference for USS within projects that are under construction or in the pipeline. - Maintain an accurate, up-to-date record of relationships, engagements, and opportunities in the CRM.
- Feed market intelligence back to management competitor activity, upcoming tenders, industry trends, and project pipeline movement.
- Work collaboratively with the presales and design teams to ensure a smooth internal handoff once an opportunity is identified.
- Own delivery against a mutually agreed sales/business development target.
- Update the CRM system on a periodic basis with relationships, engagements, and opportunity status this record will form the basis of periodic review meetings and discussions.
What This Role Does Not Cover

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of proven B2B business development or relationship management experience, ideally within construction, built environment, security, or ICT-related industries.

- Strong track record of relationship-building and networking at a senior/professional level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Self-driven and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
- Comfortable engaging confidently with architects, consultants, project owners, and senior stakeholders.
